A now favorite of mine after 4 times visiting this city within 1 year, for 2022 we flew our families and friends to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. This city is small, but full of life and international tourists from all over the world. Flying General Aviation made it easy in and out!
After a year-break from the pandemic, our 3rd annual Fly GA Mexico group guided flyout took us to beautiful Veracruz and the Pueblo Magico of Orizaba Veracruz! As always, the food, the people, the natural sites made us fall in love again with Mexico!
For our second FlyGAMexico full escorted flyout, we flew 5 planes from Central Texas to the beautiful city of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
We stayed in a centrally located hotel, next to many shops, restaurants, and pubs. The next day, we visited the beach of Ciudad Madero, before finishing off with some local mariscos (seafood), and then flying back home to Texas.
The first ever Fly GA Mexico flyout trip took place in April 2018 with fellow friends and pilots of the Austin Pilots community. Four planes flew from central Texas to the Monterrey Del Norte International Airport, for a 2-day stay exploration tour in Monterrey’s downtown district. This became the start of a tradition, for the annual Austin Pilot’s Mexico flyout.
